West Point cadets on the Sandhurst C-1 squad practiced techniques and manueuvering on a rope bridge March 5 outside Washington Hall. The Sandhurst Military Skills Competition is a two-day annual event in April, held in West Point, N.Y., with teams from the U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Army Cadet Command and about a dozen international teams. I don’t know who else celebrates the holidays with repeated playing of The Royal Guardsmen’s classic Christmas album, but in my family this is required listening. Merry Christmas, my friends!
